Nestled away from the bustling streets of MG Road, Di-Lac Retreat offers a unique blend of tranquility and convenience for travelers. While it may feel a bit detached from the city's main attractions, its proximity to the scenic Nathula Pass Route and the local zoo makes it a strategic spot for sightseeing. The staff's politeness and helpfulness create a pleasant atmosphere, especially the wonderful Alisa, whose attentive service enhanced our stay. Upon arriving, I appreciated the clean, homely vibe that the hotel exudes. Our room, complete with a balcony, provided a delightful view across the valley, though mountain views would have been a bonus. Amenities like free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee facilities, and in-room breakfast brought a comfortable touch. Opting for a cab from MG Road is advisable. Considering the peaceful environment and solid facilities, Di-Lac Retreat strikes a reasonable balance between luxury and affordability, making it a fitting choice for those seeking a quieter getaway.
